Celebrating Success: Wrapping Up Cohort 1 and Welcoming our Future Cohorts

As we approach the end of our first cohort this year, we are thrilled to reflect on Silverpreneurs® journey so far. We’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with businesses spanning a wide range of sectors. From the fast-paced world of software development to health and wellbeing and food and drink to the essential field of business support services, our first cohort has provided a dynamic environment for attendees to grow, learn and share ideas with each other.

Held at the University Centre, Shrewsbury, Guildhall, our co-founders, and their expert mentors, delivered training and workshops across topics such as strategy and planning, sales and marketing, access to finance and funding and plenty more.

We welcomed our partners from Barclays Eagle Labs, who introduced the groups access to comprehensive materials, training, and mentoring support, all fully funded. The fact that Barclays are working with Silverpreneurs® to support Shropshire’s business owners aged 50+, is something that we’re incredibly proud of.

As we near the end of the first cohort, it was lovely to receive such positive feedback from one of our attendees – Helen Pugh, from FlexAssist. Knowing our programme has had such a positive impact on her business journey is fantastic to hear.

“Silverpreneur®s has been an absolute game-changer for me. As someone in the 50+ age bracket, it was great to come across a program that not only provided valuable resources but also understood the unique challenges and opportunities that come with age and experience in entrepreneurship.

The Silverpreneurs® program has exceeded my expectations on every level. The tailored guidance, mentorship, and wealth of resources offered have empowered me to leverage my skills, experience, and network effectively. The community aspect, connecting like-minded individuals navigating similar stages in their entrepreneurial journey, has been incredible.

What truly sets Silverpreneurs® apart is its holistic approach, catering to diverse business needs while acknowledging the wealth of knowledge and expertise the 50+ demographic brings to the table.

I highly recommend Silverpreneurs® to any entrepreneur in the 50+ age group seeking not just a program, but an encouraging community.”
